Translations of lithuanian songs into english. While I am a native speaker, there is mistakes because I only speak (broken) lithuanian in casual contexts. I have to look up many words when translating. This is purely for fun

Bijau - Garbanotas
[I'm] scared / [I] fear

listen

(repeat chorus)

Viską

Ar tiesa, ar tiesa, jog ji tau nukrito
Ar tikrai, ar tikrai ji tau nenušvito
Ar tik ne to tu bijai?
How i wish, having reached the sun, to find you
That we'd both wake up wandering in the same dream
How i wish that you'd lay with me and always be close
To you, i would't say anything, i'd just look through¹ you

Maybe then, I'd understand what I fear the most
You know² - I'd reveal³ it all to you
Maybe then, you'd understand what I fear the most
You know - I'd reveal it all to youu ouuuu uuuu

How i wish, having reached the sun, to find you
That we'd both wake up wandering in your dream
How i wish that you'd lay with me and always be close
To you, i would't say anything, i'd just look through you

(repeat chorus)

Everythinggg

Is it the truth, the truth, did it not fall onto you
is it really, is it really, did it not shine to you⁴
Is it not that that you're afraid of?

¹ The word "pro" is used meaning through, as in looking through a window. I don't know why "through" is used rather than "at", but I don't believe it means looking through someone as in seeing through their lies

² "you know" is said in a way that implies that "you" already know, or "as you know". It's not a question.

³ The word "išduociau" is used here, literally meaning "give out", it can also mean to betray.

⁴ This line and the one above are clunky because I cannot figure out what they mean.. They're definitely incorrect

Lūžtančios spalvos - Garbanotas
Snapping colours

listen

Jūra meluoja
Saulė arti
Skęstantis/Tirpstantis krantas
Kokia ji kaitri

Jūra meluoja
Saulė arčiau
Lūžtančios spalvos
Vieną diena ją liečiau

Aaaaa mačiau sapne
Aaaaa mačiau tave
Aaaaa mačiau sapne
Aaaaa mačiau save

Jūra meluoja
Saulė arti
Linkstančios kopos
Tokia ji kaitri/arti

repeat
The sea decieves
The sun close
The drowning coast
How hot it is

The sea decieves
The sun closer
Snapping colours
I touched her¹ one day

aaa a a I saw in a dream
aa a a a I saw you
a a a a i saw in a dream
a a a a I saw myself

The sea decieves
The sun close
Bending dunes
How hot it is

(repeat)

¹ Could also be " it "
